I draw a lot of inspiration from the history of painting. This series of images juxtaposes classic paintings with modern photographs to explore the influence of historical art on my visual practices and explorations. Each pairing highlights the connection between past and present by showcasing similarities in composition, lighting, and themes. Through this series, I hope to both celebrate and examine the enduring impact of historic art in contemporary art direction and photography.
